I was once again lucky enough to get the one thing I wanted the most from Kylie's Valentine release which was the Kylie Diary Palette. If you remember not so long back I reviewed the mini liquid matte lipstick set she released for the same collection which you can see here.
This palette comes with same pan sizes as her normal palettes but with two blushers. The packaging is beautifully logo'd with red glitter on matte white, once you open it theres a decent sized mirror, on the matte white packaging there is scattered white hearts which I thought was a beautiful touch. I am also glad to see she is now adding mirrors in her palettes. The shades she's included in this palette definitely a unique combination of colours thats for sure which I personally like especially that hot pink! Pigmentation on her palettes is pretty average when you swatch but boy do they pick up eel with brushes. The one thing I was disappointed with was her blushers the swatches were just crazily ridiculous however they pick up much better with a brush but do take a bit of building up on olive skin tones and I can't imagine they'd show up well at all on darker skin tones, I think its definitely something she needs to work on as that is what sold it to me for this palette the fact it comes with blushers. I had to literally sit and swatch and swatch to get them to show up as much as they did in the above picture. I am also noticing a hell of a lot of palettes including this one releasing pastel shades and I have a damn good feeling they're gonna be trending this S/S! Am I pleased with the palette .. with the eyeshadows and generally yes as I can make the blushers work but its definitely something she should have delivered to us better.
