I must firstly apologise as I have been MIA for the past couple of weeks, firstly we all caught this horrible bug thats going round and then we had house move so life has been pretty hectic.
I did however find the time to order this baby, it was one of those that I knew I HAD to have as soon as I saw previews leading upto the launch. If you know me you will know how much I love my Violet Voss Holy Grail Palette which can see my review on here. That was my first ever purchase from Violet Voss, I was also tempted by the Laura Lee and Drenched Metals palettes but I never got round to actually getting them and then I saw sneak peeks of this baby instantly I knew I had to get it!
The packaging on this palette is much better, slightly bulkier but the fact it is not matte is a huge improvement as my HG palette is full of marks. This comes with a theme of holographic and leopard print all over, a fairly decent sized mirror as the palette is huge anyway and then a whopping 42 eyeshadows! Each column has its own colour theme based around similar shades working downwards but if you go across the rows there is some brilliant colour combinations. All the eyeshadows in this palette are female names. There is a big mixture of pastels, shimmers, foiled, mattes and even a black with glitter particles which I don't think I will personally use. My favourites have to be 'Stephanie', the selection of golds and I love the fact they've thrown in some silvers too. This palette will be going straight into my kit as it has an amazing selection to work with and will make life so much easier in terms of how many palettes I carry.
