New Release | Tarte Tarteist Pro Eyeshadow Palette | Review/Swatches

Tarte are seriously on a roll recently with so many new hot releases that has had literally every makeup enthusiast wow'ing and waiting for all the new releases. I have to tell you I was going stupidly crazy waiting for the Tarteist Pro Eyeshadow Palette to release, I don't even need to tell you I ordered this as soon as it launched. As far as I'm aware at the moment it is only available on the Tarte website.

With a combination of matte black and shiny gold packaging they kept this pretty simple but I found it looks so much more chic and luxurious specially with the black and gold. I must add I don't think I've see this colour combination used for any other palette. In this palette you get a total of 20 eyeshadows; 16 matte and 4 of which are duo chrome and shimmers. Each row of four is created around shades that would work well together or you can mix them up.

I personally fell in love with this palette for the shade selection although I did try to put myself off buying this as I have been rather crazy buying lots of makeup recently, when I'd finally convinced myself I ended up 'stumbling' across all the Bora Bora updates where Tarte threw a massive launch party for this palette and this point it was a done deal I couldn't not get it. For me I personally think Tarte and Lorac are amongst a few of the companies that do the best matte eyeshadows. I also love the shimmer shades they've thrown in, including a very popular shade which is a blue-brown. There was just one shade that had slightly different texture, almost a rough feel to it and but this picks up quite decently with a brush. This palette perfectly covers a wide range of shade including cool tones, warm tones and the very popular burgundy shades too!
