New Release | MAC Extra Dimension Finish Highlighters | Review/Swatches

Recently MAC launched four new Extra Dimension highlighters as a part of their permanent line with pro discount available for those who qualify. At first there was a glitch and quite a lot of people managed to get them whereas I held back until the actual launch so I could get pro discount on these.

I was actual going to hold back because I have the Anastasia Moonchild Glow Kit which I reviewed here, these shades are ll within that palette, but being a sucker for highlighters .. well everything makeup related (lol) I couldn't hold back.

These come in the same packing as the MAC MSF's, the texture is less patchy and easier to work with than MAC Oh Darling which comes from the same range, these also have the same detailing as Oh Darling too. I noticed they're all duo-chrome effect and Show Gold is the only one out of four which contains glitter particles. I am impressed with these and recently I've been using Beaming Blush Layered over Double Gleam for an extra pop and to brighten it up a little bit. I would also say these work better with a more corse/dense brush as opposed to a soft/fan brush but then again I haven't tried them with a softer brush. The intensity can really be built up with these or they can be worn toned down. I'd also like to add the Moonchild Glow Kit highlighters all contain a lot of glitter particles and fairly chunky glitter too so these are a little bit more wearable for daily use. I do hope MAC extend this range.
