Holiday Collection 2016 | Anastasia Beverly Hills Ultimate Glow Kit | Review/Swatches

Two weeks ago was the launch of Anastasia Beverly Hills Holiday Collection 2016 launch which consisted of one of the most anticipated ABH eyeshadow palettes to date - the ABH Master Palette by Mario, Allison - a new liquid matte lipstick described as a 'pinky brown' and then this Glow Kit right here!

The Anastasia Ultimate Glow Kit which is a limited edition glow kit sold out pretty fast on ABH's website. The palette itself is one of the biggest ones ABH have made in the glow kit range featuring shades based mainly around golds, this also features the deeper shades (bottom row) along with a rose gold type shade. The packaging itself reminds me of a retro styled theme with brown and gold packaging and a decent sized mirror. When I saw pre-release pics this palette looked different in every picture and it was a bit hard to tell what the true colours were like, I also along many others thought this looks rather grainy.

The texture of this glow kit is described as 'metallic; and I have to admit is different to all the others. I find the highlighters in this palette are more shimmery and subtle in terms of texture and pigmentation so it'd be best suited for those that don't mind having glitter particles in their highlighters. The best way to apply these are with a synthetic brush or one thats quite dense and 'rough'. Using a fluffier or fan brush will only pick up the shimmer particles. I personally prefer more powdery, glitter free and opaque highlighters for example the That Glow and Sweets glow kits. I do however like how each glow kit ABH are releasing is totally different in their own ways for example the Moonchild Glow Kit is based around duo-chrome shades, I can't wait to see what others they come out with next!
