New Release | Urban Decay All Nighter Foundation | Review/Swatches

If you have followed my blog for some time or have me on Facebook you will know I have only ever had good things to say about Urban Decays Naked Skin Foundation so much so for me personally it is amongst my most favourite top 3 foundations. That was literally the one and only foundation that I used when I was had dermatitis and skin problems without it aggravating my skin further and the coverage it gave me was brilliant, I have already reviewed it on my blog here.

So when I heard Urban Decay were releasing a new foundation you can understand how excited I was to get my hands on it, watching Nikkietutorials use it each time left me lusting! As you all know we get the launches releasing here a little after America but I have been using the Urban Decay All Nighter Foundation ever since it launched in the UK.

I have to start off with the packaging I love the quirky asymmetric gun metal packaging it comes in, with a slight clear front where you can see how much product you have left, not only that but it comes with an airless pump which means no more scrapping at the bottom of the bottle with a spatula to get the last bit of product. This foundation is a oil-free foundation, claims to give mattified finished without looking over-done to blur out any imperfections and help control shine, paraben-free and waterproof! Finally Urban Decay also mention they have added upto 3 times more pigment than the Naked Skin which means full coverage without having to layer it up.

So in comparison to the UD Naked Skin Foundation the texture is slightly thicker but compared to an average foundation I would say it is on parr, in terms of coverage holy crap yes this is flu coverage (just what I prefer), the best thing is although it is full coverage it isn't like other full coverage foundations which look pretty much caked on. When first applied yes this is matte on me depending on what type of skin day I'm having it can oxidise, recently my skin has been pretty much oily so yes it does oxidise I just make sure I cleanse and tine well followed by pressing powder well into the areas I know will get oily. The other thing I would say is if you've tried the Naked Skin Foundation you are likely to be 1-2 shades darker in the All Nighter Foundation. I personally love this foundation, it leaves my large pore areas looking much more minimised, the coverage is amazing and it honestly does not in the slightest feel heavy on the skin, this is now my go to foundation at the moment! I used this in my most recent YouTube Tutorial here.

Foundation £27.
