Going back when I was not even the slightest into neutral tones and first started blogging learned about the Lorac palettes, the most I ever did was look at them and say what am I actually going to do with so many similar shades.
And then my trip to LA happened as well as IMATS and as I was walking past I thought I'd stop and have a swatch at some of their palettes to see what all the hype was about. Little did I know I was about to fall in love! I went from eyeshadow to eyeshadow and on to different palettes thinking maybe I swatched the better ones but bloody hell literally all of them were insanely pigmented and probably some of the most buttery eyeshadows my fingers had connected with! So you bet I bought every single palette available at that time, I previously reviewed the Lorac Unzipped Gold Palette on my blog here.
I think out of the Lorac 1 and Lorac 2 I prefer this one, what draws me in more to this one is that navy shade, muted purple and a fair few of the shimmers too! Without a doubt Lorac matte shades are some of the creamiest and most buttery eyeshadows I have tried, they're a dream to work with and blend out. The other thing I love about Lorac is the selection of colours are quite much different to what most other palettes contain. The packaging I do wish wasn't a matte texture because they get hella dirty however the fact that the palettes are so slim makes life so much easier for me in terms of them not taking as much room, the depth is easily half of what a Z palette is if not even more less. I am dying for this years limited edition Mega Pro Palette which is set to release on 2nd October and it will be one I will have to be super quick to nab.
