Ok I'm still trying to catch my damn breath since receiving the Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Face Palette, I received it on bank holiday Monday literally one day before my birthday! This was a treat from hubby amongst a hell of a lot of other new releases which will take a few weeks before they arrive let me drop you some hints Jeffree Star, Anastasia Beverly Hills, ColourPop to name a few!
Anyway this was one palette I was not about to miss out on featuring; two highlighters a re-release of the infamous Champagne Pop but along with Prosecco Pop (the one I was looking forward to the most)! They've also added two matte blushers Amaretto (matte toasted almond), Pamplemousse (matte warm coral pink) and a Luminous Blush in Rosé Spritz (soft peachy pink with pale gold shimmer).
Firstly I'd like to apologise as my camera wasn't playing ball and I wanted to get the pictures as close as possible to what the palette looks to eye so I had to add pictures taken without flash.Secondly I did already take a set of pictures eagerly wanting to get this review up for yesterday but again they was making the shades appear totally different to what they actually were so hence you can see that this palette has been swatched.
Anyway I used the palette for my birthday I used 'Rosé Spritz' as a my blusher with Prosecco Pop as my highlighter, I wish I took pictures but my hands were full with kids all day so I will hopefully get some and put them on my Instagram link. I already have the previous limited edition palette which I reviewed here but this one definitely beats that and will be amongst my most loved cheek palettes which I will cherish for a long time!
The shades have a super creamy kind of texture to them or in other words they're buttery soft, as expected they're highly pigmented now I ended up underestimating exactly how well pigmented they are when using 'Rosé Spritz' well lets say I had to tone that shizzle down! Prosecco Pop I much prefer over Champagne Pop it has a lovely golden hint to it, I wish I had taken pictures just so I could show you guys exactly how stunning it is. I have also read mixing the shades goes together really well! Finally I heard this will be the last collaboration Becca and Jaclyn Hill hold as JH will be releasing her own line of products (squeals)!
