I searched high and low whilst in America for the Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kits I mean every single stockist and to be fair it was a rare chance I'd find them because they had just released and every single stockist only stocked limited ABH products. Eventually it was Macy's that had them in which was a relief firstly because I'm a makeup junkie and secondly because I got the chance to play with them and see them in person before buying. These are still not available nationwide I think til next month.
There is two kits in total 'That Glow' is based around warm and gold shades, this comes in golden packaging and 'Gleam' which is based on pinks and comes in silver glittery packaging. Each kit comes in its own sleeve. I have to say the first thing I was impressed with was how HUGE the palettes and the pan sizes are, they're roughly three quarters of the size of the ABH illuminators! SO you're definitely getting your moneys worth out of these.
I have to admit I think my shade selection choice would have been different for each one I'd have added a true gold similar to So Hollywood in the That Glow Kit there is just the deep bronze shade from that palette that I wouldn't personally use as a highlighter. In the Gleam palette there is two quite deep shades of pink which are the first two and I personally think I wouldn't use them as highlighters, I haven't used this one much at all as I tend to reach for warmer highlighters. The shade 'Hard Candy' from the Gleam palette is like a flip tone pink which is slightly different I just wish it was a little lighter. On a whole the pay off is not too buttery but it works very well anyway and these are more buttery powder in texture in comparison to the ABH Illuminators. There is a limited edition Glow Kit to be released soon and I'm quite excited to see what shades they will include in that, they're also due to release more shades in the liquid lipsticks!
