New Release | Tarte Tartelette In The Bloom Palette | Review/Swatches

I have owned the first Tarte Tartelette palette since it released and it has been one of my most used for matte nudes. Its one of those palettes that I love so badly, theres literally not one thing I can fault about it and has some of the best pigmented matte nudes I've tried yet.

When I saw the launch for part 2 Tarte Tartelette In The Bloom Palette I knew I HAD to have it without even seeing swatches. Then came the launch and I was like a crazy woman on a mission as I had to get it somehow! I was lucky enough to see this in person and have a play at IMAT's, it was exactly how I expected.

The first palette contains all mattes unlike this one they've thrown in 3 shimmer shades which is a good mix up so it is mainly all matte shades, the shimmers work great as a lid colour. The go to look that is really popular these days is all matte eye looks with a pop of shimmer on the lid. The pigmentation and colour-pay off is seriously intense and the best thing is they're not chalky mattes but rather a good blend of creamy mattes. The shade selection I think is brilliant they've kept the same concept as the first palette where they've grouped colours so each row contains shades that work around each other. Can I also take a moment to point out that chocolate brown qudos to Tarte as this shade is so popular these days so many brands are throwing this shade into palettes or selections! Be sure to grab this if you can as I can vouch for the fact you will not be disappointed!

  1. Oh yeah, I definitely need this in my life! It's so beautiful, even the top left shade which I wouldn't normally use :) x, Aida

    1. The top left shade is good for a neutral makeup look but to add a good depth of contrast or even as a brow highlighter, this palette gives me life! x
