Xmas Gift Ideas | Tarte Light of the Party Collectors Set | Review/Swatches

Its safe to say one of the most wanted holiday items by Tarte this year without a doubt was the Tarte Light of the Party Collectors Set I won't lie as soon as I seen this palette I was one of many dying to be able to get my hands on this. I have searched high and low and as far as I can see this is already sold out which is no surprise. When it comes to collections and packaging Tarte are one of those brands that create some of the best items hands down!

I was lucky enough to receive this gorgeous set, the outer packaging is embellished in stunning sequins sequins which are colour co-ordinated to what looks like an aztec print. With a zip which opens the palette into two, on one side you have a whooping set of 24 eyeshadows, on the other side there is a mini sample of the Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara, a mini brush, a portable mini palette and once this is pulled out there is also a handy decent sized mirror. I have seen Tarte do a lot of portable palettes within their sets and I must admit this is a amazing idea!

Its no secret that I love all Tarte products I find them very unique to other brands, The Tartelette palette has the best matte nudes with applaudable colour pay-off, I will admit I didn't find the matte nudes in this palette as brilliant as the Tartlette palette but I won't say they were bad in fact they were above average. In the portable palette it seems they have included similar shades to the Tarte Park Ave Princess Contour palette. All in all this palette is so versatile and has so much going on that I don't think I could ever get bored of it, if I wasn't a makeup hoarder I could most definitely live out off this one palette!
