So the Vice collection expanded on the 29th October and as I own all the Vice palettes to date it was only right to add the Urban Decay Vice 4 to my collection. The first thing I was impressed with was the packaging, Urban Decay never fail to impress with their packaging each time I'm blown away. The outer casing of this palettes is what to me appears to be a shattered design with a 3D effect, the shattered design is raised away from the base of the casing. One thing I have to admit is this style feels a bit fragile because with a little bit of force the lines of the design do move, also the palette appears to be much lighter to the previous ones. As always this is a limited edition palette and all the shades in this palette are new shades that haven't been seen before.
On the other hand once I opened the palette what I was impressed with is the colour range, I am so happy to see more greens included as its not often many brands include many greens in palettes. I am also loving the fact that the palette has a huge variations of finishes including duo chrome, glitters, shimmers, mattes and sheens.
I have to be honest once I had swatched I wasn't very much convinced with the pigmentation but I have been using this palette a lot and have no complaints with the respect of colours showing up well pigmented when used with brushes. My favourite combination is the peachy shade on the last row along with the chocolate brown shade before it. I use the peach shade on my lid and the shade before it in my crease, sometimes I like to add more depth by adding a touch of the last shade on the last row to darken in the crease.
