New Release | Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation + Concealer | Review/Swatches

I have always been a medium to full coverage foundation girl only recently I adapted a neutral look, but since the last few years subsequently if I'm honest I have been more self-conscious of my skin as I've mentioned many times but for those of you who aren't aware I suffered dermatitis which led to severe pigmentation from having to use steroid creams.

However my skin is so much better I couldn't be more grateful and the pigmentation has mostly faded but understandingly this left me reaching for medium to full coverage foundations. So recently Clinique released a new foundation which is concealer and foundation both in one. Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation + Concealer although is described as lightweight I personally find it is thicker in texture that may be because I am used to using UD Naked Skin foundation which is super runny and feather-light however the pigmentation of this foundation is applaudable which is why I believe it gives a high coverage I would without a doubt say this is full-coverage.

A little goes a long way with the Beyond Perfection Foundation + Concealer, I also found it blend really easily and as Clinique suggest to give it a while to sink into your skin and give it time to adapt I totally stand by this. I do find I personally have to powder and set it well as my t-zone ends up getting greasy throughout the day. I absolutely love how this comes with a doe-foot applicator as I tend to dot foundation around my face before blending which means I have to use my fingers with most other foundations but with this one the applicator makes it so much easier. It took some time as I really love my UD foundation but I have really warmed to this foundation and quite like it I like using this if I'm wanting a switch up to a fuller coverage.

Foundation £25.00

  3. Did you like the shade? I find that Clinique has really odd shades and can never find one that matches my skin colour. The only brand I have this problem with.

Love your blog, following on GFC & Twitter! Looking forward to seeing the next post! xx
