Illamasqua Minx Lipstick | Review/Swatches

Todays review is on Illamasqua's Minx lipstick this is from their nude range and is a satin finish. This is the fourth or fifth lipstick I own from their satin range. I first tried the satin finish lipsticks when they originally launched satin finish lipsticks last March which if I remember right were Soaked and Glissade which I reviewed here.

As I don't already own any of lipstick from their nude range and after loving the satin finish lipsticks I decided to pick up Minx which is one of the more darker shades from the nude range. This is described as a warm rose and although the online swatch makes this look like it is on the brown side I have to say its more on the pink side. I do really like this colour on me it is like a nude but with a little bit of colour to it as I personally can't do nudes I find they make me look washed out. I also found this worked perfectly with their new Flush Lip Slick Stick which I reviewed here. I highly recommend this if you fancy a nude and are of olive skin tone as it works amazingly as a nude on asian skin tones. Below is a look I created using this lipstick over the Flush Lip Slick Stick.

Lipstick £19.50
