Rodial is a brand very popular for its skin care range and personally this is my first time trying anything from the brand I decided to try a couple of their makeup products.
First up I have the Rodial Glamstick which basically is from their range of lipsticks, the lipstick itself is a 'tinted lip butter enriched with Vitamin E and Cocoa Butter' the finish is very glossy but doesn't have a sticky feel to it which is a huge factor when it comes to any product with a similar finish. I was rather impressed with the pigmentation to say it is described as a tinted lip butter. This lasted on my lips typically around a couple of hours again this was something I expected from a lip product with this finish, what I really loved though was the fact how it did an amazing job at keeping my lips super hydrated.
Next up I got the Rodial Instaglam Compact Deluxe Contouring Powder now this a more pricey contour powder to whats already on the market so I had high expectations. This compact also seems to be one of Rodial's most popular makeup products too! The packaging itself is silver with a leather effect lid, on the inside you get a decent sized mirror. The shade is described as a universal shade to suit all skin tones however I do think this wouldn't really show well on skin tones darker than a MAC NC42. On me however this works perfectly it is just the right shade for me to contour with I like using this on my nose and forehead area as its not too harsh. The first thing and the one thing I love the most about this contouring powder is how soft and buttery the texture is, this is a huge pout as it makes application and more so blending so much easier, the pigmentation itself is also pretty impressive. As contouring is huge at the moment there is so many versions of contouring powders even from high street brands so based on just that I don't think I'd pay that amount and repurchase however on the other hand there is literally no negatives with the compact and powder itself.
