New Release | Urban Decay Summer 2015 Collection | Review/Swatches

Urban Decay Summer Launch is live featuring an Ozone Multi Purpose Primer Pencil, 14 Revolution High Colour Lip Glosses, 11 Afterglow 8 Hour Powder Blushers and 75 Single Eyeshadows.

Firstly I'd like to take a moment to appreciate the packaging and the effort thats gone into it, I really loved the blusher packaging its something so very different.

Lets start with the Revolution High Color Lip Glosses These come in a flat plastic tube rather than the average round tube, the applicator is like a longer version of the usual doe foot sponge applicator I actually prefer Urban Decay's version as it only takes two applications to get a perfect coverage, I think this is because the applicator is slightly longer so holds more product. Finally the pigmentation is super intense for a lipgloss I was really blown away by how intense it actually is, the texture itself is not the sticky type of texture at all. i am definitely going to be picking some more of these up for my kit as they're perfect.

Next up we have the single Eyeshadows, these come in a verity of textures and finishes. I have a matte neutral shade in 'Beware' now matte neutral browns can be hit and misses but I was rather surprised at how creamy soft the pigmentation of this eyeshadow is, this shade is the perfect dupe for MAC's Saddle eyeshadow except the intensity and pay off is much better. These new eyeshadows 'feature Urban Decay’s Pigment Infusion System™, a vehicle for colour that holds tightly to pigment.'

Finally they have also released Afterglow 8 Hour Powder Blushers now in the 8 years I have been using Urban Decay this is the first time I have seen them release blushers over than in the Naked Flushed palettes. For me it was the first time trying their version of blushers as I don't personally own any of their Naked Flushed palette. I love the packaging on these as I mentioned above, the clear UD sign has some criss cross wiring running through it but still enough space to see through the pan which I think is a great idea when it comes to seeing what colour the blusher is. 'Kinky' is a lovely soft peach shade with small gold glitter particles running through it, unlike other blushers you actually have to be careful how much product you pick up on your brush as these again are super pigmented. I've been loving using this shade as it gives me a lovely glow specially when the sun hits my face you can see the gold glitter. I also want to pick up some more shades of these blushers.

Eyeshadow £14.00 | Blusher £19.00 | Lipgloss £15.00
