Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder Foundation | Review/Swatches

I’ve created the holy grail of foundations… An air-light formula with wonder powers: it illuminates, smoothes, hydrates, minimises pores and reduces wrinkles for perfect skin. When it comes to foundation, I have one simple rule: perfect coverage in a light-weight formula. Eyes can be intense, lips can be full on, but your complexion should be seamless, breathable and beautiful. It’s one of my 7 wonders for your skin!
• This innovative technology breathes a diaphanous veil of youth-enhancing tint across your complexion, evening out imperfections and moisturising the skin. It’s like a halo effect of luminosity and colour.
• A pool of youth-boosting actives helps reduce wrinkles, fight uneven skin tone and smooth over the surface for a “baby-skin effect”.
• A botanical alternative to retinol stimulates epidermal renewal by kick-starting collagen production, delaying the onset of wrinkles and creating a perfect make-up base.
• SPF 15 protects skin from UV damage.
• Pseudo-ceramides hydrate your skin for up to 18 hours.
• For dry, normal, combination skin types.

Just a quick review today on the Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder Youth Boosting Perfect Skin Foundation I bought this after seeing the love for it from other bloggers. Now I placed a crazy Charlotte Tilbury haul and was rather excited to try this. From trying it over a period of time, the texture is very light and liqudy which is where I'm guessing the naming part was involved. This is a light coverage foundation which is buildable to medium's coverage I still find I prefer more medium to full coverage foundations thats just because of me becoming very conscious over the year due to skin problems.
There is one little down fall this foundations leave a VERY dewy finish so for people with oilier skin you may really need to set this down with powder I have a oily T-zone myself and did find I had to tough up through the day around my forehead and nose. The other good thing is for people with drier skin this foundation works amazingly at keeping your skin moisturised well, the lasting power over than having to re-touch is quite amazing too went for full 8 hours on average for me but thats probably the longest time I've worn it myself. Although this foundation carries a a slightly richer high end price tag at £32.00 each some of the above facts about this foundation make it that little bit more worth the buy. I now only tend to use this on the days I fancy using something different, had this foundation have been medium to full coverage it would definitely have been one I used more often nevertheless that being said it doesn't mean I don't like the foundation but maybe when I'm a little bit more confident with my skin I will use it more often.
