Not so long ago I posted swatches on my Instagram link without revealing what brand/product they were I kept it a secret and didn't want to reveal obviously cos I'm evil like that lol! No really it was actually so I can have a proper play with these, but what I did state was there is some amazing dupes of higher end matte lip products.

Its no secret to say matte lips are the 'in' thing this year more than ever I for one am a matte lipstick lover, pair it with a dewy face and kaboom the face has dimension to it! The shade selection is even more so why I fell in love with these seriously I think every shade has been covered over than a slightly darker nude brown lip and a deep red. Whats even better is the fact that these only cost £2.99 each .. yes £2.99 is a steal for a matte lip. You'll see above theres two hand swatches the first is these swatched straight off whereas the second has a MAC lipstick swatch above and a NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil swatch below as I was comparing these off other brands and shades I have, but then I decided to grab a baby wipe to try wipe the swatches off but these buggers really didnt want to budge so I snapped to show you the staying power of these!

The packaging is the twist up kinda mechanism with the logo of the brand and name of the product printed on, I would've preferred the shade to be on these as well because we all know our chubby stick/lip pencil addiction is crazy and it can be difficult to kind of pick the shade you want without popping off the lid but I decided to colour code and label these to make life easy other than this the packaging itself is on point. There was one niggle for me though the texture didn't work so eel for some of these as it was slightly thick which meant it wore away on my inner lips but because these are so easily build able when you go to touch up its very easy to end up making the texture thicker and so on. Some of the shades were great a couple of the darker pink shades were fine and also contained some glitter which I quite liked. I haven't been able to find a way for them to work for me perfectly yet but believe me when I say I haven't given up as I really do like the shade selection. I do have to admit I am a girl who is more on the drier lips end of the scale so maybe that maybe why but I will try every possible way before deciding anything until then I still really love them and for £2.99 each theres no complaining from me.
