|KIKO Daring Game Collection|
Ok how excited was I to see the release of this collection! I couldn't contain myself AND to top it off as I had unknowingly hopped on there was a discount code available too! The total of everything I ordered after discount was just over £49.00 which meant I got free delivery so another bonus which slightly justified how much I'd spent although I don't think that was a concern that passed my mind lol!
The packaging was what had me sold to this collection particularly the KIKO Face Brush! This collection without a doubt has a hell of a high end feel to it, the packaging, detailing and sturdy packaging.
So lets start with the brush this is named a 'Face Brush' however I would have named it a Contour & Highlight brush, how does it work .. well the black bristles are designed for the contour product and white for highlight, Ideally to be used with their Sculpting Bronzer. I haven't personally tried it yet so will refrain from giving my views on how it actually works. The bristles are mega soft and I love the unique idea, so I was a happy bunny with this purchase.
Next I added in the KIKO All-In Eye Marker & Kajal now when I was 17 I used Kajal's a lot they were a friendlier version of a eye pencil and something what is traditionally used by Pakistani's specially in baby's eyes when they are young to protect their eyes from any dust/dirt due to the atmosphere in Pakistan. So this was a little trip down memory lane, I used it yesterday on my waterline over my gel liner this mattified my waterline and I found the gel liner didn't wear as fast. Next up the marker end I am basing this review on the swatches and play around I had on my hand, now it isn't the longest of wearing eyeliners but the precision of this is quite applaudable the flow is equal right to the tip unlike the brow marker I previously purchased and was unhappy with. This is a great buy for those getting to hangs with flicks and liners I'd point you towards this the precision you get with this is amazing. A quick ti for those of you who have your hands steady with a pen liner get out a eyeliner brush and gel and go over it helps with the practice of the whole idea.
Finally the KIKO Top Pairs Blushers and Sculpting Bronzer, initially when I finger-swatches (I know that sounds rude but its the best way I can explain it lol) I wasn't so pleased the packaging feels pretty heavy and sturdy which I loved along with the decent sized mirror but when it came to swatting my heart wasn't quite with them but I used one of the blushers yesterday and it worked perfectly with a brush so I do take that back, these are also great to use with the brush to get a two-tone blusher effect. Again with the Sculpting Bronzer there is two shades naturally I went with the darker one but the first bronzer shade is practically my skin colour and the second is only a tad darker however I haven't applied these with a brush so sorry I can't help with that (I was in a rush to get this post up) but the highlighter picks up well with a brush but didn't transfer as pigmented as I would've liked.
I know this isn't the most helpful review but remember I will be playing with these more over the weekend so any further questions just drop me a message below.
