We’re diehard “PULP FICTION” fans (confession: showing our age!). With this year marking the twentieth anniversary of the release of the film, we decided to commemorate the occasion the UD way—with an ultra limited-edition “PULP FICTION” collaboration. Our inspiration? None other than the cool (and completely badass) Mrs. Mia Wallace.
Urban Decay have released this new collection Pulp Fiction after the celebration of 20 years since the release of the movie. Seen as though I have included heavy detailed pictures I won't ramble so much. The fact Urban Decay have released a collection is really exciting I think other brands need to embrace this idea as MAC is known for releasing crazy collections it adds a lot more excitement towards a brand.
This collection has a twist with the packaging which I have always admired Urban Decay I've always been a fan of their quirky packaging and they didn't fail us on that point this time either specially the skull on top of the lipstick it shows how much thought was put into this collection. There is a lot of red's, nudes and browns going on in this palette I like it there seems to be a theme!
I'm already a fan of their Heavy Metal Glitters and use them regularly on clients so this Gunmetal shade which boasts of black and silver glitter particles is a happy addition to my collection its also a shade of glitter I've not seen with other brands before. I love how the nail varnish isn't just an average red but has gold flowing through it. The 24/7 Glide on Lip Pencil ahh what do I say about this, this is my first Urban Decay lip pencil and god I don't know how I haven't tried them already this goes on matte and the odour payoff is insane, it has a ever so slight sticky feel to it but this ensures the lipstick which is a true deep red sticks to the lip pencil perfectly making sure this lasts the longest time possible, two great products! Finally the palette the packaging on the palette had me drawn the most! All the eyeshadows are highly pigmented, top two are mattes and bottom three have a frost-like finish to them. The palette comes with a 'Get The Look' card like the ones they released with the OZ palettes.
This collection is a limited edition collection, I definitely think Urban Decay should release more collections like this one. I love the whole collection I don't think there is anything I can fault about any of the products. Also did you know there is now a UK website for Urban Decay! This collection is available from Debenhams, House Of Fraser and Selfridges.
