Soap & Glory Make Yourself Youthful Range | Review/Swatches

Soap & Glory CC Cream Superfluid & Rejuvenating Facial Serum

A gorgeous, super lightweight, multi-action tinted CC Cream that leaves skin so glowing, so radiant, so naked, it’s almost indecent. With a tip-top mix of:
SPF 15 to help protect your skin from sun damage.
HYPERBRIGHT™ to help illuminate, lighten blemishes and even skin tone.
LIGHTSCRAMBLING SUPERBLUR™ MICROMESH to blur the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
ENERGINSENG™, an energising, antioxidant zingiber extract.
VITAMIN C, which offers anti-oxidant protection and helps to even out skintone.
GLYCERIN to keep your skin soft and supple.

I was quite drawn to these two products from Soap & Glory's Make Yourself Youthful range. Firstly I got their CC Cream Superfluid which is basically as it is explained .. a tinted moisturiser with the benefit of the fact it contains SPF15 too. This definitely is hydrating, I would also say it is quite brightening too, on the swatch picture above you can see this blended out on the right hand side of my hand. I would have preferred more coverage which is why am not so much a tinted moisturiser kind of girl due to pigmentation I've become very self-conscious but it seems to be slowly fading. However this definitely lives up to other tinted moisturisers, I love the face this not only brightens my skin up but it also gives me a dewy finish too, my skin also feels softer and hydrated. This currently retails at £9.33 on the Boots website.

Make Yourself Youthful™ Rejuvenating Facial Serum is packed with clinically proven SUPER-YOUTH™P3000 pentapeptides, wrinkle-depth-reducing DELINER™, a circulation-stimulating oxygen complex, and special TEWL-reducing moisture-trap matrix.
It targets all the usual suspects – fine lines around the mouth, eyes and forehead – and is a fast fix when your age shows up on your face! Suitable for all skin types.
• original award-winning formula
• helps re-energise tired skin
• smoothes surface imperfections, helps reduce depth of fine lines
• brightens, tones and tightens
• refines pores, recalibrates uneven skin tone
• with a special trans-epidermal, water-loss-reducing, moisture-trap matrix
• acts as a light-medium nightly moisturiser
• formulated for anti-ageing (and a quick boost of youth)

Next up is the Rejuvinating Facial Serum I found the texture was slightly thicker than average serums but on the other hand I also found I needed to use less than I usually would. Now lines are something I can comment on as I've mentioned before but this definitely hydrated my skin well, I preferred to use it on a night followed by my daily night cream. It is always important to use serums followed by moisturiser as the serum sinks deep into your skin so pairing with a moisturiser it gives the serum the hydration it needs to take with it. I wouldn't say it worked so much with my pigmentation but I did notice the slightest amount of difference in my pores. This currently retails at £10.67 on the Boots website.
