|Eyeko Skinny Liquid Liner Review|
This is a mini version of the Eyeko Skinny Liquid Liner that I received as a free sample with an order and because I've seen Eyeko from my early days of blogging and previously tried one of their mascara's I decided to do a review.
The packaging is simple and comes in the typical liquid eyeliner pen packaging with a sponge applicator, when I first tried this I did a simple line swatch using the mid part of the applicator and flicked it towards the tip, the pigment is quite strong which I liked and another thing I remember was how quick this dries. The swatch stayed for some time until I washed it off but when I did a test of just rubbing it with my finger I'd say it did pretty well at not budging.
So then I tested it on my eyes, my eyes have a tendency of getting oily if I have no eyeshadow or products on them but after a full days wear (roughly 6 hours) the pigmentation had slightly dulled away, I also found when using just this tip when I was doing my winged liner I didn't find this did so well. It was as if the product doesn't equally distribute right to the tip, for me this is a key point which is probably why I prefer a brush and gel liner. For people who like liquid eyeliner pens then this would be great for you, but for someone who likes to winged eyeliner or use the tip for finer details then I wouldn't recommend you in the direction of this. If I am using this now I tend to go over with another liner to intensify and avoid colour fading.
This retails at £12.00 for a full size and can be bought from Beauty Bay.
