Cargo Picture Perfect Lip Primer & Contour Palette | Review/Swatches

Cargo Picture Perfect Lip Primer & Contour Palette

One brand that I really feel doesn't get the recognition it deserves would have to be Cargo maybe its the fact its not so readily available however they have some super amazing products that I can't take away from them. BeautyBay have always got discounts on so seriously I recommend heading over and having a nosy.

Two products I'd like to introduce to you from them, firstly the Cargo Picture Perfect HD Lip Primer I've not seen ANY lip primers before other than the balm types which is exactly what I expected this one to be, how wrong was I! At first I was like am I really meant to put this on my lips lol! This claims to:

Enriched with a moisturising formula which clings to the lips, HD Picture Perfect HD Lip Primer creates an adhesive like base for your lip colour. Peptides smooth and plump the lip surface to pave the way for luscious, long-wearing colour whilst Silica Spheres fill in fine lines to give the lips a soft focus effect.
Specially formulated to smooth, define and plump the lips, HD Picture Perfect HD Lip Primer ensures your lipstick stays put throughout the day whilst plumping and hydrating the lips for a picture perfect pout.
This has a creamy/moisturiser like texture which dries totally matte at first it feels weird it dries matte with a ever so slightly sticky finish, I can see why because when I applied my lipstick over this it was like the two could never be separated ever again! I have to admit it does by a long shot help lipsticks last longer even with the likes of MAC Satin and Lustre finishes. The one thing I do have to say is that slightly sticky texture kind of stays all day but other than that this is amazing! Lipsticks do slightly wear with this under but I'm saying slightly in comparison to if you aren't wearing this under the differences are huge. This retails at £14.00 but BeautyBay have this on offer for £10.50 so no pocket burner right there.

Next up is the Cargo Contour Palette originally this reminded me of my Wet & Wild palettes with the imprinting of what each shade is for, I mean what an amazing idea not that I need to be told but it just adds a slightly different touch compared to similar products on the market. I was also expecting this to be pretty smallish but its actually quite a big compact giving you your moneys worth. Now initially I thought the Cheek and Contour shades would be too light for my NC30/35 skin tone however they are just about perfect for daily use. I have to tell you the texture is AMAZING its very soft and creamy to work with which is something I really liked. The highlighter is becoming one of my favourites for daily wear it contains no shimmer just sheerness, its great to dust all over the face for a dewy look however in the pic I'm wearing it just above my cheeks. This retails at £22.00 considering you get a compact with 3 shades in it which works out to something like £7.30 each so again totally worth it.

Over and over I'm blown away with the products Cargo have in their ranges, I love how the brand is different and has personality in their products. I love both of these and wouldn't hesitate recommending them on.
