New Release | Urban Decay Heavy Metal Loose Glitters & Bondage | Review/Swatches

Urban Decay Heavy Metal Loose Glitters & Bondage

I am loving Urban Decay recently especially their new launched products! One of them is the Heavy Metal Loose Glitters and the new Bondage Glue to go with them. Honestly speaking when I first saw these instore I was slightly thrown back and put off due to the size of the glitter particles which are considerably bigger than the glitter particles from their eyeliner range.

Nevertheless I decided to give them a go, Pyrotechnics was my first one I purchased and after first time using it I was amazed with how light and fine the particles are regardless of the size. I expected to experience irritation again even that didn't happen! There is 6 shades available. What I found worked a treat was using the Heavy Metal eyeliner glitter and loose glitter combined this gave an amazing depth to my look as you can see below. In the above picture I used Goldmine glitter solely on its own with the Bondage Glue.

I also thought of the Bondage Glue to be like eyelash glue which is used as a trick of the trade to set glitter but for me I find it creases my base shadow. This has a creamy looking texture and dries clear, once set I experienced no fall out and what was even better was that this sat on top of my base shadows rather than crease them or take away the pigment.

The loose glitters and Bondage glue all retail at £10.00 which is pretty decent, when I went onto Debenhams website it seems the glitters are not in stock and I couldn't find any other stockists with these in stock online. I would definitely say to go along to your local counter and even have a play to get a feel of what these are like. I went to the Urban Decay counter at Whiterose Shopping Centre and the staff were lovely as ever.
