|Urban Decay B6 Vitamin Infused Prep Spray|
This scientifically advanced formula contains the first patented, stabilized form of topical vitamin B6, which absorbs oil, minimizes pores and reduces redness. Spritz it on any time of day to hydrate, prep and soften your skin with vitamins and antioxidants. Use it in the morning to prep and “wake up” your skin, during the day to refresh your skin (without messing up your makeup), or at night before your treatment.
Vitamin B6 helps normalize overactive cell-signaling proteins (called cytokines) to help control oil production, vitamin E provides antioxidants, and willow bark (rich in natural salicylic acid) aids cell turnover.
Honestly speaking have I been one for face primers .. nah! I still can't seem to see much difference on myself other than ones that are designed to add iluuminosity, mattify etc. It may well be because make-up lasts well on my skin anyway and I'm ready to take it off after a few hours recently since I barely wear it due to my skin being bad.
So primers aren't something big in my personal makeup routine however they are a must if I'm doing client/models makeup though. Face mists, makeup setting sprays are something I'm venturing into. I know MAC Fix+ is famous to be used before hand but other than this I've not really known many to be made for before applying makeup until Urban Decay released the B6 Complexion Vitamin Infused Complexion Prep Spray .. wow that was a mouthful lol.
This claims to reduce redness, hydrate, refresh and soften. I've used this before applying moisturiser and my makeup routine as well as during and on its own. I have to say I now have to use this daily makeup or no makeup. I notice my pores appear marginally smaller, redness was also reduced slightly, my skin stays hydrated literally all day and thats something I have always lacked towards the end of the day, when I apply on a morning it definitely does leave my skin feeling refreshed and it definitely softens skin.
The main two things I have notice this spray does for me is the hydrating and softening part! The best time for me applying this is before I start my makeup routine and definitely on days I'm wearing non. It comes in a spray version but when I spritz it on to my face I love ow it comes out as a mist rather than a spray thats the most refreshing feeling so Urban Decya have definitely nailed it with the application side of things. It takes roughly 30 seconds before its sunk in to my skin I give it another minute before going ahead and applying my moisturiser. Overall I have seen a huge difference in the hydrating and softening of my skin since I've started using this specially with a full face of makeup and this is something I will be purchasing again. You can pick this up for £21.00 for a 118ml bottle, a couple of spritz is more than enough at a time which means it will last a while.
