NARS Multiple & Paint Pots Review|Swatches

NARS Multiple & Paint Pots
NARS Paint Pots Interstellar & Black Valley
NARS Multiple Puerto Vallarta
This is my first NARS Multiple I chose the shade Puerto Vallarta which is described as a 'glowing tangerine' shade. These have been designed to be used on eyes, face, lips & cheeks so a pretty versatile products I guess, they almost remind me of stick foundations. The texture I would say is very soft and the product literally glides on, this doesn't take much effort when blending either and is a very easy product to work with. The Multiples are described as:
François Nars' iconic innovation, the original multi-purpose stick for eyes, cheeks, lips and body. Its unique creamy formula and sheer color blends effortlessly to create shimmering accents; contours or dynamic highlights on all skin tones. Apply with fingers: the skin's warmth allows for perfect blending.
  • Mistake-proof color; quick and easy to apply.
  • Sheer, natural finish for eyes, cheeks and lips.
  • Enriched with Vitamin E and açai oil for antioxidant benefits.

I love wearing this shade on my cheeks it leaves a lovely warm glow with a hint of colour on my cheeks, I have been wearing it whilst the sun was out and it almost brightened my face giving me a healthy looking glow. When trailing this on eyes I set with translucent powder so it doesn't effect the shade and this way I beat my oily lids too :) I don't mind wearing it on my lips either however it needs touching up every few hours. So I'd say its safe to say for me it is best used on my cheeks. I love the idea of the packaging and concept, I have tried blushers in similar style packaging from other brands but I have to say this one has preformed a lot better. I always put off getting the Multiples as I could never think of what I could use it for, but the range of shades available in these are intriguing as some can even be used as highlighters. I love how NARS have brought out a matte version of these something I'm definitely interested in trying.

The Paint Pots are a recent new addition to NARS and I like how they've named them 'Paint Pots' rather than gel/cream liner as every other brand for me this adds personality to a brand. These also come in some very exciting shades which again is so much like NARS I love how they release a range and variety of shades that not many other brands venture into I guess. The texture on these are very similar to my Illamasqua Infinity Gel Liner and they are really easy to work with too. There is a total of 10 shades, I got Interstellar & Black Valley. Interstellar is a silver shade and Black Valley well I guess the clue is in the name :) Black Valley dries down to a very matte finish, once dried they both have great lasting powers I'd say they pretty much match the rest of the high end gel liners in performance. I LOVE the look of Tatar and Ubangi!
