Elemis Dry/Problemed Skin Saviours
Elemis Maximum Moisture Day Cream
Elemis Tri-Enzyme Resurfacing Serum
Elemis S.O.S Emergency Cream

Its no secret I have had some bad skin days if you're a regular reader you will probably be sick of hearing about it. I have however accepted this as a part of me now but whats good is when testing brands/products I will be able to tell what are most effective.

Today I want to introduce this trio which have played a key part in helping my skin. What I love is just like Clarins, Elemis product don't irritate my skin. These products I'd like to introduce to you for specific reasons.

Elemis Maximum Moisturise Day Cream
Elemis Maximum Moisture Day Cream is a fresh feeling daily moisturiser cream with adaptive technology intelligently adjusts to your skin's needs. Providing continuous hydration whilst actively helping to protect against environmental toxins, this lightweight formulation visibly improves skin's condition.
Unique desert plants Myrothamnus and Tamarind are known for their adaptation to extreme climactic fluctuations whilst beingrich in anti-oxidant power. Combined with the moisturising virtues of African Baobab Tree, Saw Palmetto Berries and Black Poplar Bud, rich in trace elements and vitamins, skin is perfectly hydrated and energised.
This is aimed for normal/dry skin types, the first thing I realised I was going wrong with a long time ago was moisturisation. Now a lot of us with combination think as our skin is more prone to get oily in targeted areas we often misunderstand this as our skin doesn't need moisturisation kicks well thats wrong as we start to exfoliate more moisturisation becomes an even more important factor as we exfoliating/buffing the skin means we are taking away moisturisation so this then needs replacing. The same is with Dermatitis again I was making this mistake so more from experience than anything else I realised keeping my skin well moisturised is key and to do that I was using emollients but my face looked like it had been dipped in oil! Thats when this came on to the scene, it applies just like any other moisturiser and what I like is it doesn't sit on the skin it sinks into my skin as well as providing the moisture it needs.

Elemis Tri-Enzyme Resurfacing Serum
Elemis Tri-Enzyme Resurfacing Serum is clinically proven and has a non-abrasive peeling action that smoothes the skin's surface by up to 91%!*
Reclaim a stunning complexion with a more even and luminous skin tone. As natural cell renewal is stimulated, imperfections appear diminished and the appearance fine lines and wrinkles are reduced.
Serums have become my new favourite this one ranks at the top! It has a non-abrasive peeing action which for me is key as I really cannot exfoliate as much as I would like. So for me this is the best thing to renew my skin without causing it any stress specially my stressed areas. As directed I use this before using the Elemis Maximum Moisture Day Cream and I give it a 10-20 seconds to sink in then apply the moisturiser.

Elemis S.O.S Emergency Cream
This ultra-rich moisturising cream is an intense soothing and hydrating boost for parched, weathered or sunburnt skin. TheElemis S.O.S Emergency Cream contains a time-honoured synergy of Myrrh (soldiers of ancient Greece used to rub this into their wounds to promote rapid healing) including:
  • Meadowsweet
  • Willow
  • Patchouli
  • Eucalyptus
  • Lavender
Finally the S.O.S Emergency Cream when I first used this cream it felt weird, it feels almost like I've added a fine layer of glue to my skin once dried on the skin it has a slight sticky feel to it, I prefer using this on a night using the Tri-Enzyme Serum along with my night cream then finishing off with this. However after using this alongside the Tri-Enzyme Serum I seen some huge noticeable improvements with my skin. I have stuck to using this rather than give up on it and I am so glad I did as both these products have worked some wonders for me.
