Urban Decay Naked Skin Compact Powder Review|Swatches

Urban Decay Naked Skin Compact Powder £22.00

'Finish getting Naked. Our silky, weightless finishing powder blends flawlessly to set makeup and cut shine - for a luminous, demi-matte Naked finish. It's the next evolution in Naked Skin. Designed to be virtually invisible once applied, our high-tech, jet-milled powder has an insanely silky texture that feels amazing on your skin. Optical blurring pigments instantly minimize imperfections, diminish shine and create a stunning soft-focus effect that looks professionally retouched. Unlike powders that leave skin looking chalky or cakey, Naked Skin Finishing Powder gives you a radiant complexion and NATURAL-looking Naked coverage. (And just wait until you see how it enhances the already-luminous finish of Naked Skin Beauty Balm and Naked Skin Liquid Makeup.) Our gorgeous gunmetal and champagne custom compact is so luxe, it even has a Naked-embossed push button. The top compartment includes a full-size mirror - perfect for on-the-go touchups.'

After trying the Naked Skin Foundation which you can read my review on *HERE* I have totally fallen in love with I was eager to try the Naked Skin Compact Powder. I have been religiously using MAC's Select Sheer Powder and Pressed Powder for many years. So since falling in love with the foundation from this range I was naturally drawn into this.

In texture it compares very well to my Select Sheer powder which is also weightless, I would say it provides more coverage than the Select Sheer powder which is a huge bonus. In comparison to setting my makeup it does an amazing job I very rarely have to touch up my makeup through the day again this compact did not let me down on that either.

I chose the shade Medium as I am a NC30/NC35 and it has paired up brilliantly with the foundation, it is also very versatile and pairs up with any foundation I'm using but obviously works best with the Naked Skin foundation. Overall it may be my new HG powder compact, I love the packaging which it gun metal grey, you also get a fairly decent size mirror and this compact powder comes in a gorgeous pouch which is great to put into my handbag without worrying about it getting scratched finally I love the added sponge you get with this compact with the UD logo on it. Urban Decay are really winning me over with the packaging on the Naked products!

  1. This looks so pretty! Urban Decay always out do themselves on packaging. would you say this would be good for someone with an oily skin?

    1. I have to agree UD are creating some amazing products, I have oily skin and find I don't have to retouch as much as I would with my mac setting powder x
