NARS Radiant Cream Compact Foundation & Bronzer
NARS Radiant Cream Compact Powder
NARS Laguna Bronzer
Today I am reviewing this duo from NARS both these products have been highly recommended by other beauty bloggers and fellow makeup artists and after getting the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer which you can see my review on *HERE* I decided to try these other two popular products.
NARS Radiant Cream Compact Foundation:
New NARS Radiant Cream Compact Foundation brilliantly evens skin with a lightweight, luminous finish. Combining the supple feel of a cream foundation with the sleek ease of a portable compact, the Advanced Emulsion Technology formula may be applied wet or dry for artistic versatility. Blending seamlessly with weightless medium buildable coverage, skin feels soft and comfortable with moisture levels boosted by 80% after 12 hours, helping to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and enhancing skin's radiance.
The Radiant Cream Compact Foundation comes with a sponge, decent sized mirror and the compact itself which has a sealable lid to ensure it is stored well away from air when you aren't using it. The compact and the foundation can both be bought separately. The foundation texture is medium I would say but blends effortlessly I prefer to use my Real Techniques Buffing brush to buff this into my skin rather than the sponge which you can buy extra refills for separately too. I love the finish this foundation gives, it definitely does give a radiant finish (I am wearing this in the above pic) as it claims, I would say coverage is medium. I am a MAC NC30-35 and I chose the shade 'Punjab' which worked perfectly for me, its not too yellow or too pale infact I prefer this match than I do with MAC's foundations.
NARS Laguna Bronzer:
Bronzing Powder creates the ultimate healthy glow. Diffused powders with golden shimmer create an all-over warmth or contour for the face perfect for creating or enhancing the look of tanned skin. Finely milled powders fills in lines and pores for smoother, more even looking complexion.
* Iconic shades ideal for all skin tones * Natural looking, imperceptible finish * Subtle shimmer adds glow.
I've always preferred a bronzer to be matte and I still do, to be honest I actually thought the Laguna bronzer was matte too when seeing it on others. It was only when I came to swatch it that I realised it was a shimmer based bronzer, this is what I actually love about this bronzer the fact it doesn't appear shimmery at all when I use it for contouring, you can see this from the above pic. I also love how blend able this blusher is which is a key thing for a bronzer to impress me, it is also very easily build able too. The NARS bronzers come in three shades but Laguna seems to be the most popular one and worked well for me too.
