After reading many mixed reviews I decided to take the leap and to see if this helps with my troubled skin which still hasn't settled :(
'EFFACLAR DUO is a complete skincare product that combines 4 active ingredients to act on the two main symptoms of skin with imperfections: Severe localised imperfections: Niacinamide and Piroctone Olamine to fight against bacterial proliferation and eliminate imperfections. Pores clogged with sebum: the combination of LHA and Linoleic Acid unclogs pores while eliminating the accumulated dead cells responsible for blockage. These active ingredients are combined with soothing, anti-irritant La Roche-Posay thermal spring water to reduce redness.
The pores are purified. Even the most severe imperfections disappear. The skin is smoother and cleaner. Lasting balance-replenishment to restore all the qualities of healthy skin.'
Although my skin is still not settled since using the Effaclar Duo I have to say I was mega impressed with the results even after just one application, the Effaclar Duo did clear up my skin and the more frequently I used it I saw a huge improvement in my skin specially with marks from spots they seemed to slowly fade away. I did have to stop using this only because I was advised by the doctors to stop using anything else other than what they had provided me with. in the time I did use it I was really pleased with the results and I will be going back to using this once my skin is better.
Farmaline were also kind enough to give me a couple of more products one of them being the Vichy Purette Micelle Lotion Makeup remover which I am enjoying using, it is lovely to use and doesn't irritate or bother my skin in anyway which is really good. i use that followed by Aderma Sensifluid Cleansing lotion which is great at removing any last traces of makeup etc and again this does not irritate my skin, it comes in a cream like texture which I apply and then remove with a cotton pad.
