Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush Review|Swatches

'A truly next generation blush: This groundbreaking hybrid combines the customized lighting effects of Ambient Lighting Powder with an infusion of breathtakingly modern colors. The airy, lightweight powders deliver seamless, soft-focus color and a radiant
natural finish.
Unlike traditional blush, which tends to be flat, Ambient Lighting Blush exhibits depth and dimension. The integration of Photoluminescent Technology offers transformative coverage while instilling cheeks with an otherworldly flush. The six shades, which range from soft coral to cool pink, are a wardrobe of captivating accent lights for cheeks.'

The much hyped Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blushers hit the UK after a much anticipated wait by most of the blogging world. I've not tried anything from Hourglass before and have heard lots of reviews about the their powders so decided to get myself one. I went merely by online swatches and Dim Fusion seemed to have looked a lot more coral on the swatches but when it arrived I was slightly disheartened at the shade.

Nevertheless I still gave it a go to see what the whole hype was, on my hand swatch it appeared like just a darker shade to my actual skintone. I still tried to not let this put me off and gave it another chance by applying it to my cheeks, honestly speaking I was slightly impressed as it showed up as more of a coral on my cheeks, now I won't lie and say it met the shade of the online swatches I had seen but it definitely had more colour to it on my cheeks. Application wise I have to say it was flawless, went on pretty smooth with me hardly having to blend it so I have to admit the texture was great. I'm debating whether or not to pick one of the more vibrant shades up to be able to give a 100% opinion, barr the shade I am pretty pleased with it.
