  • Today I am featuring this lovely Bobbi Brown Glow On The Go Collection the only place I've seen this set is on QVC's website, I don't think I've seen it elsewhere. I already love Bobbi Brown lipsticks, blushers and shimmer bricks. But this was my first time trying their infamous gel liner, mascara and eyeshadows.

I love the different textures the palette comes with, the eyeshadows are pretty much like Clarins another brand I really love, they pick up well on a brush and its really easy to pack the brush. The darker matte shades are really pigmented and not chalky which is a good sign it does take a lot of blending though.

The bronzer is however more of a deep mauve based shade and I enjoy wearing it as a blusher, in fact if it wasn't described as a bronzer i would have mistaken it for a blusher. It isn't your average shade though id say its rather unique but I really like it as it makes a change from the usual pinks, plums and corals, as ever its is crazily pigmented just like the rest of Bobbi Brown's blushers.

The mascara I would say is explained perfectly it is definitely one for lengthening, I didn't find it clumped or gave the spider lashes result either, I like to wear a good 3-4 coats of it if I am going slightly full on otherwise one to two coats is enough to get the naturally long lashes look.

The lipgloss is one I really like! It is a clear based gloss with gorgeous pink shimmery particles. I think I will have fun wearing this through the day on its own in the summer, it pairs up really nice with a hot pink or even a nude pink.

Finally the gel liner one I've wanted to try for a couple of years when I seen a fellow makeup artist using it on models we were prepping for a fashion show, the consistency is a lot firmer than other gel liners I have tried, it still goes on the brush like the others and glides on effortlessly what I like is how easily build able it is to get the darkest of dark black effect.

Overall this kit is perfect if you were wanting to try Bobbi Brown for the first time as you get practically everything except a lipstick, it would make an amazon gift to give someone or even if you are a Bobbi Brown lover. I am really glad I got this set as its ventured my love for Bobbi Brown even more. QVC also stock a lot of other Bobbi Brown products and sets and great prices! Don't forget they launch Tarte here for us in the UK on the 28th!
