Every woman has a makeup product they cannot live without/leave the house without .. and if not that then there is always one makeup product which makes us all feel complete .. for me its got to be BROWS! I won't lie yes I can go without filling them in but once they're filled in I'm complete. I ditched eyebrow pencils for eyebrow powders over 8 years ago as I have always had the faintest eyebrows ever. Since switching to powders I have explored with some eyebrow pencils since last year but I never will/do fill my brows 100% pencil, it's just too much for my brows if you are blessed with heavy/dark eyebrows then yes but when they are as faint as mine its just a no.
So moving onto the subject for the past year or so I have been hearing about brow gels and then recently the huge hype of Anastasia Beverly Hills DipBrow Pomade just sucked me in that little further. I will not lie to you it was a pretty scary thought applying gel to my brows. But after reading lots of reviews on how easily they blend etc I took the plurge and ordered direct from their website as they wasn't available in the UK then. I got two shades Dark Brown and Ebony and it cost me just over £30.00 including first class international delivery and I received them just over a week later. They are now available from Cult Beauty who are selling them for £15.00 which I was slightly shocked at as I paid just a pound or so more and that included international delivery.
I am totally in love with them, I have used them everyday since I bought them it took me a couple of practices. The gels literally glide on, the best thing is how easy it is to blend them! I use a duo ended brush with a slanted brush on one end and a mascara wand/eyebrow tamer on the other. I start of with the lighter shade and then go over from my arch to the outer corners with the darker colour. I then use the eyebrow tamer to blend the start of my brows to get that ombre look. Finally the DipBrow lasts literally all day and even then acts tough on when I come to remove it, these are also waterproof which another huge bonus! This was my second product from Anastasia Beverly Hills and I can see exactly why their products are hyped so much, I have recently got my hands on their famous Contour Kit.
Is their any products you would recommend from Anastasia Beverly Hills?
