Clarins Opalescence SPring Collection was one of the collections I was REALLY looking forward to! I mean look at all the pretty products they have released I was actually squealing with happiness at how pretty the collection is! One of the products I was MOST excited for was the Face & Blush powder this can be used as a all over powder or even blusher and the darker shade works great for contouring andding warmth.
Instant Light Radiance Boosting Complexion Base - quite a mouthful huh if I'm honest I steer well away from BB and CC creams as I like my coverage due to pigmentation I have been left with from Dermatitis, well let me tell you this stuff is amazing it gives you more coverage than a tinted moisturiser and evened out my skintone really well, it also smells lush and whats even better is this makes a perfect base without being to heavy or making your foundation slide everywhere and finally this works as great moisturiser too!
Next up the lipsticks OH-EM-GEE they are sparklyyyy and seriously the pictures do not do them justice, I have a mega thing for sparkly lipsticks at the momentand these are just great. For a subtlelook these can be worn on their own or if you are adventurous like me layer them over your favourite lipstick shades, my perfect combo in the summer will be baby pink with these over the top. As they are sheer I will mention they don't last as long as your normal lipsticks which is of course the case with sheerer lipsticks.
Sparkly glosses are another favourite makeup item of mine and Clarins have released the perfect ones I love the pigmentation and that they aren't so clear like many other glosses. The shade I have is Coral Tulip which is a lovely shade, the glosses have more sparkle than the lipsticks. Another great release from Clarins for S/S.
Finally the cream blushers .. well these are definitely not your average cream blushers. If you struggle with applying cream blushers or have trouble getting them to last on your face without them sliding off well then you need to hit these babies up. The texture feels very much like powder when applied to your cheeks and the consistency is no where like other cream blushers which feel like you are applying gloss to your cheeks rather than a cream procuct. These are definitely winners in my eyes, in fact these are the best cream blushers I have tried so far. For tips on how to apply cream blushers check out my YouTube video by clicking *HERE*.
