|Punk Couture Collection Lipsticks: Punk Couture, Instigator, Studded Kiss|
|Huggable Lipstick Collection: Fashion Force|
When the new collections in January were launched I had a cheeky treat and got myself a few goodies. I am a fan of matte lippys and the formula of these is one thats a little difficult to work with specially when you have lips like mine but I tackle that by applying a pretty thick balm (HD Brows SOS Balm is the one I use) at the start of my routine to soften my lips, once I'm ready to apply my matte lippy I gently dab my lips so I don't have too much balm on my lips. The lippys from Punk Couture are all matte and dark shades my favourite has to be Studded Kiss a Deep Red one I've been searching for a while. I also picked up the Neo-Orange pigment from this collection only to realise I already have it DUH so if you are interested in this do let me know.
Next up the collection Huggable Lipcolour this is another one which didn't fail to please me, the texture is in a new formula and is actually called 'Huggable Lipcolour' this is designed to stay put for 12 hours with good pigmentation but a creamier formula. Now the one niggle I did have is that it clung to my lips making my drier parts stand out even more, I tackle this by doing the same as above. Other than that I love this lipstick it is extremely moisturising with a slightly thick texture pigmentation is a little stronger than in the swatch picture.
Finally I got myself these new Masterclass Brushes which have synthetic bristles and are designed to create an effortless application. 'The brush handles feature a special grip design and a tilted brush tip for ultimate precision.' These almost remind me of toothbrushes (LOL) I haven't had a proper play with them as yet so can't comment on application experience. I'm not too sure why the names of the brushes jump numbers maybe there is more to this collection I'm not sure but I love the packaging they come in, the three brushes I got were:
Linear 1 Brush: With a short, narrow shape, the brush delivers a firm, precise stroke to line lashes and lips. Also defines and fills brows.
Oval 3 Brush: The ultimate multipurpose tool, with an elongated oval shape and slightly pointed tip. Smoothly shades and blends powder or cream eye shadows, powder, and liquid or cream concealer in the hard-to-reach contours of the face.
Oval 6 Brush: Ideal for blush, foundation or powder, the rounded, medium-sized brush applies, blends and contours all over the face or cheeks for even, flawless coverage.
