Illamasqua Sacred Hour Collection Review/Swatches

Illamasqua Sacred Hour Collection*
Illamasqua is one of my all time favourite high end brands no doubt you already know that from my huge Illamasqua hauls :). The Scared Hour Collection released roughly a couple of months ago so I headed over and had a nosy. I actually bought a couple of shades in the Skin Lift which is amazing specially for asian skintones as it comes with pink/peach undertones it is amazing away at lifting pigmentation and also good and lightening up them dark circles. Here's some more of the range:

Illamasqua Sacred Hour Nail Varnish - Hemlock £14.50
Hemlock is a beautiful 'Pale Opal Green Iridescent' colour, as it is a lighter shade it does need a decent build up, the above swatch is built up of 3 coats. As with all Illamasqua nail varnishes the texture is very easy to work with not too thin and not too thick. I am enjoying wearing this shade its a fliptone kind of shade and works a treat with every outfit and also the A/W.

Illamasqua Sacred Hour Velvet Blusher - Peaked £18.00

Another one of the things I really wanted to try from this collection is the Velvet Blushers, I own all the other blushers/highlighters in both cream and powder from Illamasqua so the Velvet blusher was something I was really wanting to give a try. Peaked is described as 'dusky rose' and I don't think I could describe this shade any different. What's interesting is the texture on this blusher is cream but has a powder finish once applied. It is just as easy to apply and blend as a powder blusher and has an amazing lasting power, the shade again is something I'm loving wearing throughout A/W. I will be ordering the other shade and hope Illamasqua extend the range of colours in the Velvet blushers,

Illamasqua Sacred Hour Reflection Palette - £34.00

The Reflection palette comes with four creamy shades which are pretty easy to work with once you get the hang of them, they work perfectly with Illamasqua's eyeshadow brush. I like to call this palette the smokey eye palette as the perfect colours to create a smokey eye. On some days I enjoy wearing the lightest shade on its own it instantly makes my eye look brighter, this shade is also great as a highlighter on the brow bone or even above your cheeks.

Once again Illamasqua have created an amazing collection don't forget their Christmas collection - Envy is now available to buy it includes a palette full of shimmery powder eyeshadows which is again something new from Illamasqua.
