Clarins Facial Cleansing Duo Review

Clarins Facial Cleansing Duo - £50
Here's another skincare post until recently I was guilty of not regularly cleansing and toning but since hitting mid 20's and going through a pregnancy I have seen my skin change drastically before my eyes. I now religiously cleanse, tone and moisturise at least once a day most days morning and night. I've heard lots of feedback and recommendations about Clarins skincare and after trying this duo I can totally vouch for it, I am so glad to have tried this duo out.

Clarins Cleansing Milk
This duo is designed for combination/oily skin which is the category I fall into. I have been loving using this in the unique method described by Clarins 'Place hands flat, without pressing, over the entire face and then lift briskly away to create a suction effection. This literally draws out and lifts make-up and grime as gently as possible. Repeat this movement 5 or six times, then rinse thoroughly'. At first I was drawn back by this procedure thinking it will be time consuming its actually quite effective, relaxing and doesn't take so long at all. It is important to cleanse skin to avoid breakouts, black heads and yellow heads which are formed from the build up of dirt. This specific cleanser contains 'Gentian, Hawthorn and Sage' which work together to balance oily-prone skin and leave you with a radiant skin tone.

Clarins Tonin Lotion
The Toning Lotion contains Iris which is designed to remove every little bit of cleanser that's left. I also learnt on my makeup course using a toner before applying makeup is important as our skintones changes according to atmosphere etc so to balance your skin tone it is vital to use a cleanser. This specific cleanser has a lovely slight scent to it which I really like and its also alcohol free. The way I've been applying this is  by directly putting it onto a cotton pad and swiping over my face evenly. Overall this duo is perfect and I will definitely be re-purchasing it again.

Soothing cleansing milk smoothes away make-up and impurities with spa-like efficiency. Clarins’ blend of purifying plant extracts—including Gentian, Hawthorn and Sage—helps rebalance oily-prone skin for optimum comfort and radiance. Leaves skin feeling soft, supple and perfectly refreshed. - See more at: http://www.clarins.co.uk/Cleansing-Milk-With-Gentian-%22Combination/Oily-Skin%22/C010102002,en_GB,pd.html?start=22#sthash.6GSwVple.dpuf
To increase effectiveness and prevent over-stimulation, Clarins recommends the following technique: Place hands flat, without pressing, over the entire face and then lift briskly away to create a suction effect. This literally draws out and lifts make-up and grime as gently as possible. Repeat this movement five or six times, then rinse skin thoroughly with tepid water. Apply in the morning and evening, using Clarins gentle cleansing method. - See more at: http://www.clarins.co.uk/Cleansing-Milk-With-Gentian-%22Combination/Oily-Skin%22/C010102002,en_GB,pd.html?start=22#sthash.6GSwVple.dpuf
