Lime Crime Velvetines & Carousel Gloss Review/Swatches

I had been waiting ages for the Velvetines to be re-stocked by any UK Lime Crime Stockist, just to my luck I asked Cocktail Cosmetics the night before they were due to restock. I ordered both shades of the Velvetines and the Carousel Gloss in the shade 'Snowsicle'.

Left - right Red Velvet, Suedeberry and Snowsicle
Red Velvet with Snowsicle over the top
Both Velvetines dry to a very matte feeling where as Red Velvet holds its shine a little more than Suedeberry. I love wearing them both and the wear is really good, Suedeberry holds wear a longer in my opinion. I would explain Red Velvet as a rich red and Suedeberry as a coral. Snowsicle is a glitter top coat with baby blue and baby pink fliptone glitter particles, sorry you can't see it so well on the swatches I find it a struggle to successfully capture glitter (any ideas on how I can achieve this)

I've also got a giveaway on for my lovely followers where I ama giving away a colour each in the Lime Crime Velvetine's, to enter click *here*

Don't forget you can now advertise on my blog, head over to the 'Advertise' tab (top right) for more details

  1. I'm not normally a gloss person and prefer matte so these sound quite interesting. Love Suedeberry :)

  4. I've heard so much about Red Velvet, but no one talks about Suedeberry which is a shame because it's such a stunning colour.
I am partial to a matte finish too which could be why I'm so drawn to it.

    These swatches are stunning. :D
