Batiste Does It Again

Batiste has done it again! They have just released 3 new additions to their range 'Strength & Shine', 'Smoothing Conditioner Mist' and 'XXL Plumping Powder' all retailing at £2.99 each and available to  buy from Boots.

First up is the 'Strength & Shine' this is used as a normal dry shampoo but is designed to strenghten and leave a shine to your hair. Batiste have basically took their normal dry shampoo and added an ingredient called 'L-Arginine' this is an amino acid which is known to stimulate hair follicles. I love using this and tend to reach for this over my normal dry shampoo's from batiste, once I've spritzed my hair I tend to massage my head for a few seconds one to get rid of the white consistency secondly this is a good way to get the stimulation going and thirdly this is something you should do on a daily basis as it helps blood flow stimulate healthily.

Next is the 'Smoothing Conditioning Mist, this has been designed with the main ingredient 'Argan Oil' to make your hair a lot more manageable and softer by locking it with putting the moisture into your hair what it needs. This is the one that I have been the most excited about and loving the most! It actually does work as well my ends were ombre'd a few months ago and the lady used bleach on my hair which I wasn't aware about until afterwards that left my hair very frail as I've never had bleach on my hair. So now I spray my hair from half way down concentrating mainly on my ends and massage it in into my hair well and finish by combing it through.

Finally another AMAZING product is the 'XXL Plumping Powder' if you have fine or very silky hair this baby is likely to be your best friend, my hair is very silky once its washed so doesn't hold any volume and lays flat on my head which by the next day ends up greasy. This is designed to give your hold allowing you to volumise it in many ways like for updo's, back-combing and holding curls. I know there is many of these on the market and these volumising powders were a huge hit back in 2012 but what makes this different is it only costs a fraction of the prize, I have one from Lanza which cost me £15-£20!

Don't forget you can now advertise on my blog, head over to the 'Advertise' tab (top right) for more details

  5. Oh wow, this is new! I haven't been shopping for dry shampoos lately (because I already have like 5 of them), which is probably why I haven't noticed this new range. :)
