Lime Crime, OCC & Sugarpill Review/Swatches

I'm recently loving Lime Crime despite the background of this brand they truly have some unique products and colours. This is my first time trying their Uniliner I am hoping to get it in Lunar Sea when it is available to us in the UK, the second item I am reviewing is their lipstick again some of the colours they have are totally unique to us in the UK anyway. This is actually my second lipstick of theirs.

I am also reviewing Sugarpill and OCC again two massive makeup brands known globally purely from the quality and pigmentation of the products.

Firstly the Uniliner I did expect this to be a little bigger but it is roughly palm size when I swatched this on my hand it did not budge all day infact it only started wearing away the next day and yes I did wash my hands several times, the picture actually doesn't show the pigmentation off well but this is a gorgeous colour and can be layered on top of your black eyeliner for a pop of colour, this retails at £9.00. The lipstick has a total different texture as apposed to 'Poisonberry' this lipstick is actually creamier. 'Contessa Fluorescent' is a gorgeous bubblegum pink and very opaque, the above is a one swipe swatch (sorry for the slight blurr) the lipsticks retail at £11.50.

Sugarpill are actually becoming more popular in the UK too whereas every makeup fanatic in America either knows or owns a product of their brand, I have their 'Burning Heart' palette which I payed a silly price for and ordered straight from America but again the pigmentation on their products is totally amazing although I'm not too sure on 'Buttercupcake' and its pigmentation shown in pictures, it is an amazing colour with good pigmentation for a yellow but I don't think its as bright as they make it look in pictures. However generally on a whole Sugarpill are well known for their pigmented eyeshadows and I couldn't agree more. The single eyeshadows retail at £8.95 each.

Finally OCC Lip Tar Stained Glosses are different to the normal Lip Tar's these are more like a gloss and less opaque, they come in a cute little pouch with a little brush retailing at £11.95 so no too pricey as high end glosses/lipsticks range about £14 generally. I thought it would be useful to add a pic of what 'Voyeur' looks like on as it is a slightly unusual shade, it actually looks scary in the tube but isn't so bad on.

  1. Great post.
I love the SugarPill palettes, I need to get my hands on Heart Breaker but am tempted to wait until their pro palette comes out, I wouldn't argue with having doubles of Burning Heart or SweetHeart shadows. I love them.

I desperately want to try Lime Crime out they look amazingly pigmented and I've not heard a bad thing about their quality.

That's amazing you get the brush with the lip tar glosses, they look like they're good quality as well so both for just under £12 is a great price. :)
