Guest Post - Luchessa's 5 Top German Products

Hey everyone today is a guest post from the lovely Luchessa, we decided to do a swap guest post so make sure you check out my 'Top 5 British Products' over on her blog today .. Hope you enjoy the post and don't forget to enter her giveaway:)

Hello Ladies, readers of [Diary of a makeup geek] and friends!

My name is Luchessa and i'm the writer behind {Beauty expression by Luchessa}.
After recently talking to Aqeela on Twitter, we both decided to do a guest post for each others blogs and it seemed to be a good idea to tell you about our favorite local products. As you know Aqeela is based in the UK, so she is going to tell us about the best british items in her collection over on my blog, while i'm sharing my german beauty products here with you, since i live in Germany.

So let's get started.
It was not difficult to pick out my most used and loved products of all times, but it was a challenge to make sure the brands are really from Germany. Finally i managed to find 5 really great products, that you hopefully are going to like as well.
Stay tuned until the end and you might find a little surprise.

top 5 german products1) Essence Like a jump in the pool is a really fresh and clean summer fragrance, that is small enough to be carried in your purse (0.33lf.oz/10ml) and really suits the summer theme with its name & scent. It's a really light fragrance, that's not going to last for hours, but actually that is what I personally enjoy about perfumes.
Top note: pepper, green apple & lemon blossom.
Middle note: peony, muguet & tea leaves.
Base note: white cedar wood, musk & vanilla.

2) DermaSel Dead Sea mask pearl is one of my favorite face masks.
Valuable anti-ageing complex maintains the skin's suppleness. With real pearl proteins.
The mask contains magnesium and mineral salts that stimulate the cell activity and gives your face a great refreshed look through the amino acids that are so essential to our skin.

I enjoy putting this mask on while taking a bath using bath salts from the same pearl line - a really classic combination, since i do both for about 15 minutes.

3) Artdeco Dita von Teese Compact Powder is my all time favorite compact powder on the german market. Dita did a great collaboration a while back with the german brand Artdeco cosmetics and had a big success with it. I reviewed this particular product HERE, if you like to have a look.
It’s a micro fine compact powder that creates a transparent, gently matt finish.
That very fine texture blends completely with the complexion and mattifies skin perfectly thanks to its oil absorbing properties.
I have not tried any other pressed powder that would be as light and mattifying as this one. I'm really impressed with this product.

4) Professional Precision Makeup Egg by Ebelin - a beauty blender knock-off made in Germany by the own drugstore brand, that became a sensation right after it came on the market.
It retails for only 2,45€ and has quite a good quality for that price and it's real easy to work my foundation in with this wet egg. It leaves an even finish and doesn't absorb too much of the product.

5) Last but not least is a great metallic purple nail polish by Manhattan cosmetics (7ml), which is fast drying and long-lasting.
I'm a big lover of metallic shades, so when i saw this one in store, i just had to get it. The color stays on my nails usually for 4 days, even longer with a good top coat. (I use Better than gel nail by Essence mostly.) Manhattan is quite popular with their nail polish collection in Germany.
Have you tried any of these products before?
Well now you might be the lucky one, since you can win 3 of the 5 products shown in this post.
