Mini Illamasqua Haul

So this is the second reason I broke my ban you can see the first reason *here*. I bought a few things from Illamasqua when they had some offers on over easter, basically certain shades in certain categories were discounted so I took the plunge and bought a few things, I also got an extra 10% off as I am a 'loyal' customer oh I feel privileged :p I paid £7.20 each for the eyeshadows and lipstick which were included in the Easter sale, £21.87 each for the skin bases (second skin base came a bit late which is why it is not in the pic above) and £13.77 for the cream pigment.

Since attending the Illamasqua beauty event I've been curious to try out their skinbases so the lighter colour is my skin tone colour which the guy matched up for me and the darker shade he recommended to me for my pigmentation as it has pink under tones he said these help balance of the skin tone. If I'm honest it was slightly scary using such a dark colour but believe me it works! I apply the darker colour once I have primed my face to area's where I have slight pigmentation then stipple my normal shade over. The eyeshadows and lipstick were just amazing colours for me to turn away from and as for the green pigment well again at the beauty event we was told this works a treat to use for colour correction red areas. So there's my mini haul I hope I have justified why I broke the ban lol :) Keep an eye out for part 2..

I'd like to try some Illamasqua bases too, I still haven't tried anything else from them since my first disappointing foray with the Alter Ego Mystery Selection at Christmas.
    Hope you're well hun.
