YSL Touche Eclat Foundation Review

This post is about a product what is raved about all over the bloggersphere and generally by everyone. I got a sample of this whilst hauling and have to say it is really good, although I'm still stuck between this and the Lancome Teint Miracle. The texture itself is half way between Lancome Teint Miracle which is very light and Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24hr which is slightly thicker textured but more like normal foundations.

What YSL say about Touche Eclat Foundation:
Twenty years after the launch of the iconic Touche Éclat, Yves Saint Laurent adopts a leading edge technology that transposes the magic of this legendary highlighter into a foundation to achieve the same illuminating result for the entire face. Yves Saint Laurent introduces LE TEINT TOUCHE ÉCLAT. A bold, unique formula to target shadowy areas and define contours. A magic light infused within a weightless fluid. A texture that has no mask-like effect. A formula free of opaque powders that evens the complexion and erases imperfections, enhancing the face’s natural features.

What I thought:
The texture is amazing and provides a really good coverage, would I buy again ... yes. I was however waiting for the lady at the counter for 15 minutes not good with a little baby but she was helpful and did a swatch test without me asking for it. Overall I'm very pleased with the foundation it doesn't make me look like I'm caked with make up and is pretty flawless. Cost price £28.00 slightly pricey if I'm honest but unlike other foundations you only need a little of this.

  2. Lovely post! I actually have this foundation but bought it in summer - when I was a lot more tanned - and no longer matches me :( .. I was considering getting another bottle in a lighter shade but I'm not sure it's worth having two! lol xxx
