OMG Rant Post (LONG POST BE WARNED)

I have ordered from OMG Fashion before and never had a problem, I first found them through Twitter like many other sites. As normal I went on for a browse and seen some gorgeous wedge trainers I was indulged into them so the next day I logged on to make an order but they were no longer there sold out I guess. So as you do I tweeted to query about them and no reply and several tweets later with no reply thinking they may be busy with the selling of their '99p dress' I just went on and placed an order for a few other things I had seen. My total including delivery was about £40.

I placed my order on the 10/11/12 along with many other orders with different companies and had received my items 3 days later but not my OMG order. Just casually I thought I'll tweet to see how the order is going as I have problems with post in my area, anyway suprise suprise no reply to tweets or emails for over a week before and after my order. I think they were too busy boasting their bloody '99p dress' at this point you can imagine how annoyed I was they was tweeting their business as normal and replying to others BUT me! So I went on their Twitter any suprises in seeing others were just as pissed off as me with the same problem!

So I began telling other Twitter friends and bloggers about my issue this was a week on from my order with no reply which is when I started getting a reply from them each reply was one sentence with a bloody fullstop and the tweets wern't the most helpful but I found indirectly rude. I requested to know if my order had been despatched you wanna know when I was told it is despatched on 23/11/12 the day it bloody arrived! While I was on their Twitter another thing what annoyed me was while I was getting ignored I read a tweet to Tulisa saying 'We would love to send you some of our clothes xx' why the difference in treatment, they were ready to send to Tulisa when they can't manage the orders as it was.

I wouldn't have minded if they had told me they were slightly behind when I first asked but no the ignored me for nearly two weeks yet I was sent an email to say my order was despatched on 13/11/12 misleading info huh?!?!

I then emailed AGAIN this time I told them I want to know what is happening with my order, the full situation, I had to threaten them I would contact fair trading standard as I have all the proof and I also said the person managing Twitter needs to go on a customer service skills course. They finally got back to me and said they will refund the delivery costs when I've received my order, at one point the person on their Twitter even said 'we cannot offer refunds for a order which is only 1 day late' I mean its my money whether the order is on time or not I am entitled to request a refund seen as though I did not have the items.

Even when they started replying to one email a day it took them up until the 23/11/12 to tell me my order is despatched what use when later that day it was delivered. To top it all off they are back to ignoring me and have NOT refunded me delivery costs and I have stopped chasing them they can keep the delivery costs.

I will NEVER order from them again so this post is a slight heads up and if you decide to do so anyway good luck.

  2. Can you find their head office address and write them a formal letter, that normally works lol. I know you had enough and I don't blame you but the fact the order was late, even by one day you are entitled to a refund, xoxo.

    1. I honestly dnt even enable be in touch with them again my order was a week late in the end such companies shouldn't even be allowed to run its appalling xx

  3. I completely agree that their customer service sounds shocking and that they didn't treat you well. However, it's not their fault that your order arrived late - Many companies aim to ship your order out within three days of placing it however some obviously have a backlog of orders and they just simply don't have enough manpower to ship out the items straight away. Some 'Should arrive by this date' dates are just guidelines to give you a rough idea when it should arrive by.

    I'm not having a go at all and I know that you're rather hacked off by them but I'm just stating that it's not their fault xo

That's exactly what I put in the email, its ok for it to be late no problem at all it was simply the fact they should have atleast replied that's all it was just that simple but even when they did they never once said sorry but were happily tweeting others. the order took nearly 3 eeks since I ordered in all that time it was just a matter of communication they couldn't have been that busy if they were tweeting celeb's offering service n even casually tweeting everyone else. when they did reply I found them to be rude and uphelpful xx

  4. That's absolutely ridiculous! If they had any clue as to what customer service is, I expect an immediate apology firsthand before trying to justify late delivery -- it's BASIC.
    I can totally understand how pissed you are and had actually seen the tweets you sent. It's a great decision to write it down here and warn others of such terrible service... Consumers deserve SO much better!!

    I hope you'll never have to deal with such crap again x

  5. That sounds horrible- I'm a big believer in good customer service. The fact that they were offering to send clothes to Tulisa but can't even please a paying customer is disgusting.
