I've seen soo many reviews on Topshop make-up so while I was on my shopping spree I knew I had to tick this off my wishlist. I made 2 purchases both were cream blushers. As I was being served at checkout the lovely lady said I get a free mirror for buying 2 make-up products of one which was Louise Gray, the actual mirror is very cute and came in a gorgeous velvet pouch AND it was free =].
So I was a happy bunny however I didn't expect anything special because it seems slightly weird to me buying make up from a shop which is mainly known for clothes fashion infact it was a first for me. I totally forgot I bought them it wasn't until I was taking my haul pics that I remembered so I thought I'll swatch them which my hubby gets very annoyed with as he has to stand patiently and watch me swipe and swatch 100's of make-up products while we go shopping. Anyway boy was I amazed at the quality infact I've fallen in love with them the more I use it the more I love them. The texture is cream - powder blends amazingly well giving a sort of glow finish to your face.
I chose Blush in Neon Rose the name does really live up to 'Neon Rose' in a good way. It is slightly corally too I would say. You only need the slightest bit the texture is very delicate and effective.
What Topshop say:
Lightweight cream to powder blush that melts into the skin giving a natural luminous, radiant finish. Smile and brush onto apples of cheeks for a rosy glow.
Next I chose Cheek Duo in 'Up In The Air' this has very pastel-y colours a gorgeous pink and coral, again both amazing the coral leaves like a luminating glow to the cheeks, the pink on the other hand is like a statement colour I absolutely love both of them.
What Topshop say:
Cream to powder blush gives radiant luminous finish. Use colours separately or blend colours together for sculpted look. Dot on cheeks and blend with fingertips or blush brush.
My sexy free compact mirror =]
Both products live up to what Topshop have said about them, I love the idea of how you just dot on the cheeks and then blend. One down fall the packaging is a matte casing so colour gets on to these really easy but is very easy to wipe clean. I'll defo be looking into buying more make-up products from Topshop.
Have you bought any of these or any make-up from Topshop...What do you think???
